Funding for Research Seminar, Media Education Research Journal Researchers’ Retreat and Media Education Summit

In 2012-23, the Higher Education Academy provided funding for three activities led by CEMP researchers. An HEA research seminar disseminated outcomes of a pedagogic project exploring the ‘conditions of possibility’ for critical media literacy in virtual world contexts. MERJ hosted an HEA-funded Researchers’ Retreat for new pedagogic researchers and the HEA also provided financial support for the ‘MERJ conversations’ strand of the Media Education Summit.
